Mia Woo is a ceramic artist currently based in Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics with a Minor in Psychology at Arcadia University and is expected to graduate in May 2022.

She discovered her passion for ceramics at the age of twelve when she took her first pottery class through her middle school curriculum. Since then she has been developing her skills in wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramic pieces, and makes both functional and sculptural work. As of late she has been experimenting with porcelain to create a wide variety of miniature sculptures dubbed "critters," ranging from ghosts to starfish to soup dumplings.

Mia is currently preparing for her Senior Thesis Exhibition, a group exhibition that will open in May 2022 in the Spruance International Gallery in Glenside, PA.
